The MTL4541 is a repeater power module, mainly used to supply power to 2-wire or 3-wire 4-20mA transmitters in hazardous areas and drive loads in safe areas. Below is its detailed introduction:
- It provides a fully floating DC power supply for traditional 2-wire or 3-wire 4-20mA transmitters in hazardous areas, and repeats the current in another floating circuit to drive loads in safe areas.
- For HART 2-wire transmitters, this unit allows bidirectional communication signals to be superimposed on the 4-20mA loop current.
- In addition, the MTL4541S can act as a current receiver connected to the safe area, instead of driving current into the load.
- Signal range: 4-20mA
- Processable current range: 0-24mA
- When the output current is 24mA, the load resistance in the safe area is 0-360Ω.
- When the output current is 20mA, the load resistance in the safe area is 0-450Ω.
Supply voltage range: 20-35V DC
At 24V, the typical current consumption is 40mA (transmitter current not included).
- Accuracy: Up to ±0.05% of full scale
- Temperature coefficient: ±0.01% per ℃
- Input/output isolation voltage: 250V AC
- Isolation voltage between input and power supply: 250V AC
- Operating temperature range: -20℃ to +60℃
- Storage temperature range: -40℃ to +80℃
It adopts a DIN rail mounting method compliant with EN 60715 standard, with an IP20 protection rating, suitable for use in control cabinets.
