The MTL4015 is a switch/proximity detector interface module manufactured by MTL, mainly used to connect sensor signals from hazardous areas to safe-area systems. Its specific characteristics are as follows:
It can access switch or proximity detector signals from hazardous areas and output them to two safe-area loads via relays. It is suitable for scenarios where sensor status needs to be fed back to two independent systems (e.g., control and shutdown systems).
A phase inversion switch is provided on the top of the module, which can issue alarm signals for the two states of the sensor, enhancing the flexibility of system configuration.
It is equipped with Line Fault Detection (LFD) function to detect line open-circuit or short-circuit conditions. It also provides ground fault detection function to ensure the safety and reliability of system operation.
There are LED indicators on the top of the module, which can intuitively display the power supply and switch status, facilitating on-site operators to monitor and troubleshoot faults.
