HIMA F8628 is a DCS module in the HIMax system developed by HIMA. The following is its detailed introduction:
Affiliated System: The HIMax system was launched in 2008 and has obtained TUV certification, meeting the SIL3 safety level. It adopts an innovative XMR architecture, featuring high redundancy and fault-tolerant capabilities, which can maximize the elimination of the possibility of single-point failures.
Functional Features: During the system operation, software and hardware can be modified and expanded unconditionally without interfering with the operation of the safety system. Additionally, it can synchronize with the plant-wide clock synchronization source via the standard SNTP protocol. It is suitable for critical control scenarios with large project scales, strict time requirements, and complex calculations, such as unit control systems, boiler protection systems, and railway safety control systems.
Appearance and Structure: In terms of appearance, it is a circuit board equipped with multiple interfaces and electronic components. The appearance diagrams from different angles are shown at the end of the article.
Comparison with Related Modules: HIMA also offers the F8628X module, which is an analog switch amplifier. It is mainly used to connect HIMA controllers to the PROFIBUS - DP network, supporting 125 slave addresses with a baud rate ranging from 9.6 kbit/s to 12 Mbit/s and adopting the RS485 physical layer.
